Why can’t I access or find my controller through the Cloud?
This can be caused by several factors: The controller is not connected to an Internet connection properly within your home WiFi network The controller is unable to establish a connection with the Rain Bird server Your mobile device’s controller password does not match the controller (password reset required).
Can I use my phone’s cellular WiFi hotspot feature to connect my LNK WiFi to the internet?
Yes, most phone WiFi hotspot features can be used as the local WiFi signal to connect your LNK WiFi to the internet. Be advise that if you use your phone as your WiFi router, you will not be able to access your controller remotely, and your carrier’s normal data charges will apply.
My router is very close to my irrigation controller (10 to 50 feet away) but I am still losing my connection (RSSI value reported as -70’s, -80s). Why is this happening?

We recommend moving your wireless router closer to your irrigation controller, using a WiFi range extender, or adding another access point.
Will my Rain Bird LNK WiFi Module ever need to be re-connected for any reason?
If you perform a simple router upgrade or change your Internet Service Provider, you may need to re-connect your Rain Bird LNK WiFi Module. (See “Change Router” or “Change Internet Service Provider”)

I have a controller on the outside of my home and I can’t get the connection to my Rain Bird LNK WiFi Module to work. My WiFi network connects to my phone. What can I do?
Some homes, especially those with exterior brick walls, have very poor WiFi signal outside the home. Try moving the router and the timer closer together, or add a wireless signal repeater (also known as a booster or range extender).
Why won’t the LNK WiFi Module stay connected to my WiFi network?
